Omar El Aawar
Omar is the founder of Inspiring Egyptians, a social initiative he launched in 2015 to highlight the achievements of exceptional Egyptians and challenge stereotypes. Within six months, the platform gained national momentum, featuring more than 250 interviews with figures such as Professor Magdi Yacoub and Samih Sawiris. As its impact grew, Omar expanded it into a broader movement through events, mentorship programs, and workshops, attracting investor interest and inspiring audiences across the Arab world.
In 2024, Omar founded The Youth Summit, a platform designed to connect Gen Z with industry leaders. Its inaugural edition at the Grand Egyptian Museum drew over 2,000 attendees, 50+ speakers, and more than 10 million social impressions. The 2025 edition doubled in size, bringing together over 4,000 attendees, 100+ speakers, and major global brands at the American University in Cairo. With mentorship matchmaking, startup pitches, and immersive experiences, The Youth Summit has become the largest Gen Z-focused event in the region.
At BRIDGE Summit, Omar will discuss youth empowerment, cross-generational collaboration, and how mission-driven platforms can unlock leadership, purpose, and innovation for the next generation.

Navigating Cancel Culture and Creative Freedom
In a world where one post can ignite global backlash, the line between expression and consequence has never been thinner. A 2024 Journal of Cybersecurity study found that 67% of creators have faced harassment, bans, or reputational fallout online. As influence grows, so does the need for resilience. This session explores how creators can stay authentic while managing risk—balancing free expression with accountability, and navigating a digital culture where algorithms reward outrage and a single misstep can undo years of trust.
