Michael Novogratz is the Founder and CEO of Galaxy Digital, a leading diversified financial services firm focused on digital assets, cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. One of the most prominent figures in global finance and Web3 innovation, he previously served as President and Partner of Fortress Investment Group and ran the Fortress Macro fund. Before Fortress, he spent eleven years at Goldman Sachs, where he was elected Partner in 1998 and later served on the New York Federal Reserve Investment Advisory Committee on Financial Markets.
Beyond his work in digital finance, Novogratz has emerged as a major force in criminal justice reform. Through his family foundation, Galaxy Gives, he supports initiatives that address systemic inequity and reduce incarceration. He is Chairman of The Bail Project and a Founding Partner of REFORM Foundation, and contributes to research and leadership development as a member of the Leadership Council at the Harvard Kennedy School Center for Public Leadership.
