Gihan El Shamashergy is an Egyptian actress and multidisciplinary artist with a background in contemporary dance and performing arts. She is known for a grounded, intuitive approach to acting that prioritizes truth, presence, and human connection across her work on screen and stage. Her practice reflects a strong commitment to authenticity and emotional sensitivity.
Beyond acting, Gihan is a jewelry maker whose nature inspired designs explore organic forms and subtle textures. Her pieces are recognized for their individuality and the sense of story embedded in each design. She has also used her craft as a tool for empowerment, teaching metalsmithing to women in Aswan and underprivileged children in Cairo.
